The Montreal II model released in 1977 was one of Onitsuka Tiger's first shoes explicitly designed for jogging. The original model was offered in eye-catching colors, a novel idea at the time. It is then we begin to see appreciation of vibrant colored shoes by athletes and novice joggers alike. Reproduced for the first time, we paid special attention to the unique archival details. From the distinctive rolled-up sole to vivid colored uppers, the MOAL 77 NM style has been reproduced as part of the NIPPON MADE series. The rubber outsole features a reproduction of herringbone pattern inspired by the 1976 archive model.
